Elmar Brok zu Gesprächen in Washington vom 01.-03. Dezember 2010
Zur Vorbereitung des am kommenden Wochenende stattfindenden interparlamentarischen Treffens des Europäischen Parlamentes und des US-Kongresses reist der ostwestfälisch-lippische Europaabgeordnete Elmar Brok heute nach Washington. Brok, der Vorsitzender der Delegation des Europäischen Parlamentes zu den Vereinigten Staaten und Co-Vorsitzender des Transatlantic Legislators‘ Dialogue ist, wird u.a. den zukünftigen Sprecher des US-Repräsentantenhauses John Boehner, Senator John McCain sowie Vize-Außenminister Jim Steinberg treffen:
